History

Kirst Engineering Company was established in 1981 in
Billings, Montana, and operated as a manufacturers' sales
representative and industrial equipment distributor. Over the
past 25 years Kirst Engineering has expanded its customer base to
include Montana and Wyoming and the western half of both North Dakota
and South Dakota.
Our original focus on petroleum refining, power
generation and the oil and gas market remains unchanged. Today,
however, Kirst Engineering also offers products and applications
engineering for the water and wastewater, mining, pulp and paper, wood
processing and commercial construction markets. We are still the
experts regarding products for fluid processes and the instrumentation
to control and monitor them.
Our mission from the beginning has been to
offer engineered products of the highest quality, along with the best
technical support. To accomplish this goal Kirst Engineering
Company has maintained a professional sales staff, an applications
engineering support group, as well as a distribution warehouse and
fabrication shop in Billings, Montana. Our branch offices in
Casper, Wyoming; Bismarck, North Dakota; Bozeman and Missoula, Montana,
further provide quality service throughout our customer base.

Kirst Engineering Company has always been committed
to supporting a competent and enthusiastic sales and service
team. This can be evidenced in the ongoing training we provide
our staff regarding manufacturers' products and their
applications--either through seminars conducted at our home office in
Billings or at training sessions on site with the manufacturer.
